2001: A space oddysey

Listening to: [ RHCP - Soul to Squeeze ]

Tonight i witnessed the crappiest movie i've ever seen.
I had built up a big expectation of the movie that was dubbed "the best science fiction movie of all time" and all i say is i felt like i could never be happy again.

I acknowledge that the movie had an excellent set, lighting was good and the shots weren't bad. However what was bad is the excruciatingly long sequences.

Makes me never want to become an astronaut. Felt like raw documentary and even documentaries hire what is called an 'editor'.

The special effects was good and the themes of human evolution was interesting. HAL (the computer) wasn't bad either... the time it took for a pod to dock killed me.
I would say i have patience but this movie is absolutely ridiculous.

Worst movie ever. I watched this at Gappers house with Monin and felt like i had to indulge in Nachos and cigarettes before i felt back to Earth again.

It's a perfect tool for assasination training (as i felt compelled to murder something afterwards) or a psych ward for those who have seen the entire movie.

Monin notes it's something they should play for criminals in jail. HAHAHA!
Studying tax has never felt so 'fun' compared to this movie and i use the word very loosely.
